How do I join an ensemble (band)?
Most of the junior ensembles have an open membership, if you want to join in come along on the practice day and talk to the Musical Director. Senior ensembles hold regular auditions. if you are in any doubt please contact us.

All we ask of you is a commitment to weekly rehearsals and concerts as required, and a desire to improve your musicianship.

What will it cost?
Music Centre charges are on two scales depending on which ensemble you attend. You may attend as many ensembles as you like for the same fee!
All new members receive up to one free probationary term. After this period the following payment conditions apply:

Siblings are charged at £10 per term
£40 will be charged automatically if a student joins more than one ensemble
£40 will be charged plus £10 per additional child if more than one family member attends Music Centre
Some students may be exempt from fees if their families meet the free school meals exemption criteria.
