The Centre is located at the rear of The Ladybridge School in a 2 storey building that has been recently re-furbished. the Centre has a large conference/rehearsal room, two good sized rehearsal rooms, a classroom and use of a large school hall. The centre is used during the day as the base for the Music Service and for workshops and meetings. in the evenings most of the ensemble rehearsals take place here along with some twilight teaching.   The rooms in the Music Centre are available for booking when they are not in use. for more information contact the admin office. HOW TO FIND US

From the M61 / Westhoughton
Leave the motorway at Junction 5, take the Bolton A58/A676 exit off the roundabout.
Follow the road downhill, pass a garden centre on the left and continue on to the traffic lights. Go straight through the lights and follow the road uphill. Look out for Wigan Road Van Sales on your left and turn in front of this onto Dealey Road, about 100 metres on the left is Junction Road, go left here. As the road curves to the right you will see New York on your left, turn into New York and the school will be directly in front of you.
Park on the main car park at the front of school. Walk towards the front of school then follow the path round onto the road that leads to the back of school.
You will see a farm area at the end of the road. Just to the right is a gateway into a courtyard. Go through here and straight ahead under a porch are two metal & glass doors. This is the entrance to the Music Centre; ring the bell on the left. Go through these doors, up the stairs and through the double doors. The Music Service office is immediately on the right.
 
 

From Bolton Town Centre
Take the A58 Deane Road/Wigan Road towards Westhoughton. After Haslam Park (on the right) look out for The Royal Bank of Scotland on the right. Turn right in front of the bank onto Junction Road and continue past Deane Church to the crossroads. go straight across and continue down Junction Road.

INSTRUMENTAL EXAMS

At the end of each term the Music Centre hosts an instrumental examination session for the Trinity Board. Although most of the candidates will be entered by our own staff other teachers are welcome to enter candidates through us by contacting the admin office.

PARENTS

Many Parents help the ensembles by joining one of the Parent Support Groups. these groups raise money for the ensembles and assist the Musical Director with some of the routine jobs involved in running an ensemble. other parents choose to wait in our Parents area which is equipped with work spaces, armchairs, and drink making facilities.
