PERCUSSION

There are Four Percussion Ensembles at Bolton Music Centre which cover a wide age range from 5 to 18 years, and abilities from beginner to advanced.
 
The Beginner and Intermediate ensembles practice on Friday whilst the Senior ensemble practice on Monday evening. Many of the players who learn their percussion skills in these ensembles join one of the orchestras, wind bands or brass bands as well as performing with the ensemble.

The ensembles on Friday are run by Mr Gary Watton
